Students will develop an extensive knowledge and skills in healthcare information coding and introductory management and health informatics knowledge and skills, research, quality, advanced data management, leadership and health data analysis. The program promotes the development of analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, communication skills, professional ethics, social responsibility, professional citizenship, the ability to adapt to change and respond to challenges in health information management, and a commitment to lifelong learning.
